Overview

Gas meters adopt traditional diaphragm mechanical gas meters. By integrating with high performance circuitry and infrared communication technology, customers can recharge meters by 20 digit tokens, input by IR Token Pad, provides comprehensive, reliable, advanced smart prepayment solutions to both gas companies and end users. It complies with International STS Standard IEC62055-41,51, which means, LAISON STS Prepaid Gas Meter is compatible with any system confirms to STS Standard. Prepaid Gas Meter is compatible with all third party vending points, so customers can purchase gas and get the 20-digits token via third party outlets. It can also be integrated to local e-payment platforms which provide a convenient way to purchase gas vouchers through any smart device.

These meters can be used on Natural Gas supply and LPG supply. Gas meters can also be linked to networks with a pulse reader output.

Gas Meters are categorized depending on the volume (flux) of the meter. Gas Meters are generally measure in cubic meters per hour. Gases are compressible and change volume when placed under pressure or are heated or cooled. A volume of gas under one set of pressure and temperature conditions is not equivalent to the same gas under different conditions. When gases or liquids are transferred for their energy content, such as the sale of natural gas, the flow rate may also be expressed in terms of energy flow, such as GJ/hour or BTU/day. The energy flow rate is the volume flow rate multiplied by the energy content per unit volume or mass flow rate multiplied by the energy content per unit mass. Most flow meters will be used to calculate the volume or mass flow rate which is then adjusted to the energy flow rate by the use of algorithms to turn the raw flow data into volumes at base conditions (consisting of specified absolute pressure and temperature).

Our gas prepaid meters is manufactured with a higher rust preventative alloy material. This material offers a higher resistance against rust forming on the prepaid meter. The value of using our prepaid meters, with alloy materials, means replacement periods of rusted meters are extended and maintenances costs are much lower adding to a higher profit margin.

These gas prepaid meters work on the same credit token (Unipin, Easypay etc.) vending architecture as a normal prepaid meter. Loading credit tokens onto meters by the clients are the most action needed. Customers purchase the amount of credit they require and load it into the meter. This approach of purchasing credit will benefit all parties, the user will have a budget they can manage and the Landlord will have cash flow to pay for the bulk service.

The keypad connects to the meter using wireless radio frequency enabling the consumer to load credit, monitor credit levels, meter status, battery status and other important information The responsibility now resides with the user to recharge the prepaid meter by loading the recharge token.
